A total of 566 shoeboxes were collected in Salerno on behalf of the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal. Team Hope is an Irish, Christian international development organisation working to help children affected by poverty in Africa and Eastern Europe.
This year the appeal was led by a team of 23 TY students. They worked together to promote the appeal within the Salerno community and to motivate and inspire the student body to get involved in the charitable tradition that Salerno has established over the last 15 years. This teamwork and collaboration within the school community resulted in a record number of shoeboxes being collected. Well done everyone involved!!!
