The Le Chéile Schools Trust warmly welcomes the announcement by the Minister of Education that it has been awarded the patronage of the new post primary school to be opened in Mulhuddart/Tyrrellstown  in 2014.

We will offer the highest academic standards in an environment that is caring and compassionate where your child is known, respected and appreciated as an individual. We will also provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities and develop students’ interests and talents.

In our submission we highlighted our commitment to working with the local community in meeting the educational needs of the children in the area. We now look forward to honouring this commitment and to entering enthusiastically into the process of establishing the new school with the Department of Education and Skills. We are grateful to the Minister and his officials in the department for entrusting us with this task.

We are very aware that is will be the first Catholic post primary school opened in the State since 1992 and we are delighted to have this opportunity to build on the tradition and heritage of the 14 religious congregations that make up the Trust. They have been generous and dedicated servants of education in Ireland for centuries and it is a privilege to be able to continue that tradition.
