Everyone enjoyed the traditional Ice Cream on Founders Day in De La Salle College Churchtown. The tradition started when Hazelbrook Farm (HB) was located beside the school and the Brothers went to the Dairy Farm next door and bought an Ice Cream for every student on John Baptist De La Salle Day, 15th May. When you meet a Past Pupil from the school the frequently ask do the boys still get an Ice Cream on De La Salle day? It appears that the Patron, Board and teachers rightfully shared (and enjoyed) the Ice Creams this year.
