Earlier this year Bank of Ireland very generously sponsored the first ever Local Enterprise Day which turned into a super family fun day out.. in St. John’s College, De La Salle.
Over sixty local businesses came together to show case their goods and services and network!
Local groups and clubs got involved to let the community know what they do and encouraged others to get involved.
Entertainment was provided by a wealth of local talent, too many to mention but each act was amazing!!
Ballyfermot’s own Mary Byrne was on hand to cut the ribbon and start proceedings and RTE’s Mary Kennedy kept the show on the road, interviewing exhibitors and basically chatting to everyone.
& the highlight of a most memorable day was a visit from Santa Claus who gave a lengthy interview to our younger visitors.
Overall great excitement, new connections and loads and loads of fun.
A special thanks to all involved in planning the event especially Anthony Egerton, Ballyfermot BOI Manager for his vision and commitment which ensured that day was enjoyed by many.
